The training workshop attracts the participation of over 60 commune-level officials in charge of culture, tourism, agriculture, and rural affairs across the province.

During the five-day training, participants are provided with seven key topics, including State management of tourism and agricultural tourism, and agricultural models associated with the new-style rural area building programme; development of agricultural tourism in connection with this programme through value chains; foundations for building and evaluating agricultural tourism models; guidelines on management mechanisms and organisation of agricultural tourism models; building rural tourism destination brands and digital transformation trends in tourism development; digital content creation skills and application of artificial intelligence (AI) in promoting tourism products and services; and application of e-commerce in rural tourism promotion, along with on-site activities at exemplary agricultural tourism models in the province.

The training workshop is an opportunity for officials at all levels to exchange and share experience, improve human resources quality, and promote agricultural and rural tourism development in association with the new-style rural area building programme.

It helps localities to develop distinctive tourism products, enhance digital transformation, connect markets, attract visitors, and contribute to sustainable rural economic development, aiming towards green, fast, and sustainable tourism growth in Son La province.
