In the first quarter of 2025, Van Ho district welcomed over 73,000 visitors, including 19,000 staying overnight, and more than 54,000 coming for sightseeing. Its tourism revenue reached nearly 64 billion VND (2.5 million USD).

Foreign tourists visit and take a photo with the Thai ethnic community in Phu Mau hamlet, Chieng Yen commune.

To boost tourism development, since the beginning of the year, the district has organised a number of events, including the Van Ho Tourism Week, the Peach Blossom Festival in Long Luong commune, and the Ban (Bauhinia) Flower Festival in Chieng Khoa commune.

These events featured numerous activities reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the ethnic groups, such as performances, cultural camps, folk games, displays of OCOP (One Commune One Product) items and local specialties. They attracted large numbers of visitors, helping to promote and introduce the image of the Moc Chau National Tourism Area – the World’s Leading Regional Nature Destination.
