Winners of contest "Tourism ambassador of Van Ho district" announced

After the preliminary round, organisers selected 12 finalists who are students of Van Ho studying at the Faculty of Culture and Tourism of the Son La College, and representatives of enterprises, cooperatives, and household businesses providing tourism services in the district.

Contestants went through two parts, including cultural and artistic talents for tourism and travel interpretation. In the interpretation part, they introduced to local residents and tourists the traditional cultural traits of ethnic groups, and typical community-based tourism hamlets such as Buot, Na Bai and Phu Mau in Chieng Yen commune, and Hua Tat and Chieng Di in Van Ho commune, along with attractions like Tat Nang waterfall, hot springs in Chieng Yen commune, and waterfalls in Chieng Khoa commune.

Meanwhile, they demonstrated their talents through the traditional dances and songs of the Mong, Dao and Muong ethnic groups, which drew crowds of locals and tourists.

The organisers awarded the first prize to candidate Giang A Lu from Chieng Di 2 hamlet in Van Ho commune, who is also a student of the Son La College, along with two second prizes, three third prizes and six consolation prizes to outstanding contestants.
