10 key products see growth in 8 months

In the first eight months of this year, production of 10 key products increased compared to the same period last year.

Several products recorded significant growth, such as rubber, which surged 38.5% thanks to consistent rainfall that supported good rubber tree development and higher latex yield; cassava starch, up 34.55%, as processing factories expanded their raw material sourcing areas, increasing the volume of input materials for production; and black Portland cement rose 8.47%.

Electricity production increased by 7.31%; commercial electricity output 7.03%; construction stone 6.76%; drinking water 6.45%; purified water 5.21%; non-hazardous waste collection services 3.38%; and non-knitted or crocheted adult shirts 1.56%.
