The two-day market fair features a variety of cultural, artistic, and traditional ethnic sports activities and folk games such as tug of war, tu lu spinning, khen (panpipe) playing, pounding banh day (round sticky rice cake), pa pao throwing, badminton, and volleyball.

A cultural performance rich in the traditional identity of the Mong ethnic group.
The fair also includes booths displaying, promoting, and selling local agricultural products such as son tra (docynia indica), taro, dua meo (mountain cucumber), pineapple, corn wine, and black chicken, grown and processed by ethnic minorities from Co Ma and nearby highland communes. More than 40 stalls offer a variety of handmade brocade items, traditional clothing, and household goods.

The Co Ma Highland Market Fair is an annual event held to mark Vietnam’s National Day on September 2. It serves as a meaningful occasion for ethnic communities in Co Ma and neighbouring communes to engage in cultural and sports exchanges, share production and lifestyle experiences, and promote their distinctive agricultural products to visitors. The event contributes to showcasing local identity and boosting agricultural and tourism development in the area.
