Using the loans, households have invested in various effective economic models, such as growing fruit trees in Cong and Cang Coi hamlets, and raising livestock in Muong Lan hamlet. 

Additionally, 85 poor and near-poor households, and ethnic minority families in Kha, Muong Lan, Na Vac, and Phieng Pen hamlets, have been supported by Economic-Defense Unit 326 to plant 36 hectares of Dendrocalamus (a species of bamboo) and received over 500 kilogrammes of fish fingerlings to boost economic development and reduce poverty.
