Long He actively promotes crop conversion on sloped land

As a mountainous, agriculture-based commune, Long He has strengthened communication efforts to encourage local residents to maintain and care for more than 2,000 hectares of grain crops, while actively promoting crop structure transformation on sloped land.

Farmers in Long He develop fruit tree cultivation models.

The commune now has cultivated 626 hectares of fruit trees, including docynia indica (son tra), mango, longan, and plums, with an annual yield of nearly 900 tonnes.

It is also enhancing cooperation and providing technical guidance to help farmers apply scientific and technological advances in agricultural production. The goal is to develop both crop and livestock farming in the direction of commercial production.

By 2030, Long He aims to eradicate poverty (as defined by the multidimensional poverty standards) and gradually improve the living standards of its people.
