Over 76% of customers in Son La pay electricity bills via cashless methods

As of May 1, 2025, the Son La Power Company has ceased operations of all in-person electricity bill payment counters.

Staff from the Mai Son – Yen Chau Power Management Team guide local residents on how to pay electricity bills using cashless methods.

The company has partnered with eight banks and nine intermediary service providers to implement third-party collection services, enabling customers to pay through automatic debit, e-wallets, or bank accounts. As a result, the rate of cashless electricity bill payments in Son La has surpassed 76%.

This transition promotes transparent, secure, and convenient transactions, meeting customers’ needs for payment anytime, anywhere.
