Representatives of the provincial Centre for Agricultural Extension and Digital Transformation, the provincial Farmers' Association and Binh Dien Fertilizer JSC hand over farming inputs to households participating in the model.

The model covers 5.1 hectares in Chieng Coi ward and Binh Thuan commune, with the participation of six coffee-growing households. Participants will receive support for three fertilizer applications, including nearly 7 tonnes of NPK fertilizer and more than 3.7  tonnes of organic microbial fertilizer.

The project also provides foliar fertilizer supplied by Binh Dien–Mekong JSC and biologically based crop protection products from Binh Dien Fertilizer JSC.

Staff from the provincial Centre for Agricultural Extension and Digital Transformation provide guidance on coffee cultivation and fertilizer application to a participating household in Chieng Coi ward. 

Participating households have received training and technical guidance on climate-smart coffee farming practices, including canopy pruning, nutrient management, efficient irrigation, pest and disease control, and science-based crop management to help plantations adapt to climate change.

Throughout the project, technical staff from the centre have worked closely with farmers to ensure recommended cultivation practices are properly implemented. Agronomists from Binh Dien Fertilizer JSC have also provided advice on crop nutrition tailored to each stage of plant growth, helping improve yields and coffee quality while strengthening resilience to adverse weather conditions.
