
These include 37 vegetable, 160 fruit, five coffee, 11 tea, three rice, three pork, three chicken and five honey chains, along with 15 aquaculture chains on the Son La hydropower reservoir, 14 agro-aquatic processing chains, four smoked meat chains, one agricultural trading chain, and one cordyceps cultivation chain.
In addition, the province has nine high-tech agricultural zones, 218 planting area codes (including 202 for export), eight agricultural product packaging facilities, and 29 products bearing the “Son La” geographical indication that have been granted protection certificates.
The safe agricultural and aquatic product supply chains have contributed to improving product quality, ensuring food safety, and enhancing market competitiveness.
