Delegates at the conference

In the first six months of this year, the provincial Cooperative Alliance organised five conferences to establish new cooperatives in Van Ho district, and supported the establishment of 29 cooperatives. It conducted surveys, monitored operations, and assessed the implementation of the Cooperative Law and legal compliance of cooperatives and cooperative unions in Moc Chau township, and the districts of Van Ho, Mai Son, Yen Chau, Thuan Chau, and Quynh Nhai. The alliance also facilitated participation in three trade promotion conferences for cooperative products in Quang Ninh, Bac Lieu, and Hanoi.

Speaking at the conference, Cong urged the povincial Cooperative Alliance to continue uniting and mobilising its staff to advise, propose, and apply policies to fulfill assigned political tasks. He also encouraged members to innovate, be creative, and enhance production and business efficiency, thereby increasing value and quality. This would contribute to the development of the collective economy and the province’s socio-economic growth.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance awarded the "For the Development of Cooperatives" insignia to five individuals. The provincial Cooperative Alliance presented certificates of merit to 24 collectives and 12 individuals for their outstanding achievements in building and developing the collective economy and cooperatives in 2024.
