Nine out of 11 groups of commodities and services saw price hikes, including education; goods; food and catering services; clothing, headwear, footwear; housing, electricity, water, fuel, construction materials; household equipment and appliances; medicine, medical services; beverages and tobacco, and post and telecommunications.

The rise was driven by tuition fee hikes at certain colleges and universities and base salary adjustments. Additionally, businesses and manufacturers raised prices for goods and services to counter rising costs.
