Meanwhile, Thuan Chau commune targets nearly 600 hectares of rice during this crop, prioritising high-yield, and pest-resistant varieties such as LT2 and BC15, and sticky rice varieties like 86 and 87. With planting progress exceeding 50%, local officials have launched irrigation initiatives and flood-control measures to mitigate risks and ensure timely completion.
