Nearly 200 athletes from 16 delegations are competing in men’s and women’s volleyball, with 12 men’s and seven women’s teams. Following a draw to determine the groups, teams compete on a points basis, with the top-performing teams advancing to the semifinals and final.

The matches take place until October 30 at the 3/2 stadium in To Hieu ward. On the opening day, the teams delivered many impressive plays and well-coordinated moves, drawing enthusiastic cheers from large crowds of spectators.

The tournament provides an opportunity for the organising board to assess the quality of volleyball movements in localities and units, while enabling athletes to exchange experience and improve their skills. It also helps promote mass participation in sports and strengthen solidarity./.
