At the conference, the two sides signed a cooperation programme on the management, direction and organisation of physical training and sports activities within the Son La police force for the 2026–2030 period.
The programme outlines 11 key tasks, including renewing communication methods and content; reviewing and proposing the development, amendment and improvement of relevant regulations, mechanisms and policies on sports and physical trainin in the force; establishing and expanding sports club models; maintaining sports tournaments within the police force while promoting traditional ethnic sports; and organising physical training programmes, fitness assessments and physique standards for officers and personnel.
At the conference, the Department of Public Security launched the “Healthy for National Security” campaign for the 2026–2030 period within the Son La police force.
The campaign focuses on strengthening public awareness and communication on physical training and sports; organising sports activities, competitions and exchanges; developing sports facilities and mobilising resources for the campaign’s implementation; and accelerating digital transformation in sports and physical training management.
By 2030, the campaign aims for at least 95% of police units and officers to meet the prescribed physical fitness standards.
