Football and badminton events were held prior to the opening ceremony on September 11. The athletics competition included men’s and women’s 100m and 400m sprints, high jump, and long jump. Volleyball and shuttlecock kicking matches were conducted using a group stage format, with group winners advancing to the semifinals and finals. Organisers reported that all events complied with competition regulations, ensuring safety, objectivity, and fairness.
Driven by a spirit of solidarity, honesty, and sportsmanship, the athletes gave their all, creating a vibrant atmosphere that attracted large crowds of spectators.
At the conclusion of the event, organisers awarded 16 sets of medals to high-performing teams and individual athletes. Yen Chau High School secured first place in the overall delegation standings.
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Yen Chau commune People’s Committee commended three collectives and eight individuals for their contributions to organising the Games./.
