The province focused on implementing 13 inter-level boarding school construction projects, which basically met schedule requirements; organised the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination in a safe, serious, and regulation-compliant manner; and successfully conducted the 2026 provincial defence zone exercise.

Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ha Trung Chien addresses the session.

At the session, delegates contributed opinions on draft reports, plans, decisions, and proposals regarding the issuance and announcement of a list of priority investment attraction projects for the 2026–2030 period in Son La province; criteria for evaluating and ranking the quality of state administrative agencies in the province; staffing data for cadres, civil servants, and public employees funded by the state budget at provincial and commune levels, and the proposed staffing allocation plan for 2026; and the implementation of the national target programme on new-style rural development, sustainable poverty reduction, and socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the 2026–2030 period, as well as the 2026 plan.

Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Dinh Viet delivers the concluding remarks at the session.

In his concluding remarks, Chairman Viet requested departments, agencies, and localities to further strengthen the responsibility of heads of units, clearly define responsibilities, tasks, timelines, deliverables, and authority in implementing assigned duties.

He also called for intensified efforts to remove obstacles and resolve difficulties related to administrative procedures, land, minerals, and site clearance, while promoting production and business activities.

Public investment disbursement should be accelerated; and the implementation of national target programmes in 2026 and the 2026–2030 period in Son La province must be carried out in a timely and compliant manner.

He further emphasised the continued effective implementation of key tasks and solutions under Government resolutions on socio-economic development plans and the state budget estimate for 2026.
