Journalists, reporters, photographers and citizens inside and outside the province are subject to the contest. Entries are single or sets of photos (no more than 10 photos) featuring Son La’s landscapes, festivals, people, and daily life of 12 ethnic groups. They should be taken in Son La and at the province’s events held at home and abroad.

The competition will last for three months, from July 1 to September 30. Photos must be sent via message to Son La Newspaper's Facebook fanpage at: https://www.facebook.com/baosonla190192. For selected works, the organising board will request the original versions to the newspaper’s email address at baodientusonla@gmail.com.

The contest aims to encourage photographers and photography lovers to join efforts to promote, introduce and spread beautiful images of Son La's nature, people and culture to people throughout the country; and spread love for Son La in the social community. It also serves as a forum for photography enthusiasts to exchange and share experience in capturing beautiful photos.
