Welcoming the working delegation, Son La province was represented by Hoang Van Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies; Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; Duong Tu Anh, member of the provincial Party Committee's Standing Board and head of the provincial Party Committee's Inspection Board; leaders of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; and representatives from Thao Nguyen, Moc Chau, Moc Son and Van Son wards, and Long Sap, Doan Ket, Chieng Son and Tan Yen communes.
At the programme, Nguyen Dinh Viet, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, presented a brief report on the province’s socio-economic situation and people’s living conditions in the first four months of 2026.
At the programme, the working delegation visited, extended encouragement, and delivered 200 gift packages to policy beneficiary families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, poor households, trade union members, and workers facing difficult circumstances in Thao Nguyen, Moc Chau, Moc Son and Van Son wards, and Long Sap, Doan Ket, Chieng Son and Tan Yen communes.
On behalf of Party and State leaders, Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission Tran Sy Thanh acknowledged, commended and congratulated the achievements made by the Party Organisation, authorities and people of all ethnic groups in Son La province in recent years. He emphasised that the Party and the State consistently uphold the principle of “leaving no one behind,” promoting solidarity and mutual support.
The gifts presented by Party and State leaders to policy beneficiary families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, poor households, trade union members and workers in Son La province reflect care, sharing and encouragement, bringing joy to families during the holidays, he said.
On behalf of Son La province’s leadership, Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, expressed sincere thanks for the deep affection given to the province by Party and State leaders, especially the Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission.
He said the gifts represent not only material support but, more importantly, a significant source of spiritual encouragement, reflecting the special care and attention of the Party and State to disadvantaged groups and those who have contributed to the revolution, helping motivate them to strive for a better life.
