At the meeting, leaders of To Hieu ward reported on the local socio-economic development, as well as national defence and security performance during the first six months of 2026, and outlined key tasks for the remaining six months of the year.
The provincial People's Council delegation also informed voters of the outcomes of the council's thematic sessions, the proposed agenda, programme, and schedule for the second session of the 16th provincial People's Council, and provided updates on the resolution of voters' opinions and recommendations falling under the council's authority.
During the meeting, voters in To Hieu ward requested clarification of the investor's responsibilities in implementing construction items under the Vincom Son La project. They also urged authorities to accelerate the construction of the market in Residential Group 2, Quyet Tam; the 25-metre Hoang Quoc Viet – Me Ban – Tran Dang Ninh road; the drainage canal from Chieng Sinh to Nam La stream; and the completion of the remaining section of the flood-control embankment project.
In addition, voters proposed that the delegation forward recommendations to the relevant authorities to promptly implement the Ket Nuoc Slope expansion project together with a public lighting system, and to expand cultural houses in residential areas following the recent administrative merger.
Addressing the meeting, Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements made by To Hieu ward in recent years while receiving the voters' opinions and recommendations. He called on the ward Party committee and local authorities to continue fostering unity, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state administration, focus on socio-economic development, ensure national defence and security, promote administrative reform and digital transformation, and promptly resolve issues arising at the grassroots level in order to strengthen public consensus.
Regarding recommendations falling under provincial authority, the delegation will compile and submit them to the provincial People's Council, the provincial People's Committee, and relevant agencies for consideration and resolution in accordance with regulations.
