A delegation from Communist Review led by Ngo Minh Tuan, Director of the Party Building Department, on June 30 held a working session with leaders of provincial departments and agencies to review the implementation of Party building and Party rectification efforts.

Delegates attend the working session.

At the working session, leaders of the provincial Party Committee's Organisation Board highlighted the province's major achievements after one year of implementing the two-tier local government model and the administrative boundary reorganisation.

Accordingly, the Son La provincial Party Organisation has focused on renewing its leadership methods and restructuring the political system. The province has issued and effectively implemented a number of thematic resolutions on digital transformation, infrastructure improvement, urban development, new-style rural building, marine economy development, industrial development, and heritage preservation.

Personnel work has also been reformed with a focus on selecting, utilising, and protecting officials with strong competence and integrity, particularly in building a capable grassroots leadership team that remains close to the people and serves the people effectively. At the same time, greater emphasis has been placed on accountability and the exemplary role of officials, especially heads of agencies and organisations.

Ngo Minh Tuan, Director of Communist Review’s Party Building Department, delivers remarks at the working session.

Speaking at the event, Tuan highly appreciated the province's efforts in implementing the Party's major policies. He affirmed that Son La is moving in the right direction and is among the localities that have effectively implemented the two-tier local government model.

In the coming period, Communist Review will continue conducting research and exchanges with the province to produce articles highlighting its effective practices in leadership, governance, administration, working methods, and policies for training, developing, and attracting high-quality human resources to support science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Ha Trung Chien speaks at the event.

For his part, Chien expressed thanks for the attention and support of the central authorities and Communist Review. He also voiced his hope that the magazine would continue accompanying and supporting the province by promoting its practical experience, good models, and effective approaches in Party building, socio-economic development, and the reform of state governance at the local level.
