At the project sites, the project investors, contractors, and local authorities provided brief updates on the construction progress.
The contractors have mobilised the maximum number of machinery and equipment, together with 200–250 workers working continuously and overtime, while flexibly adjusting construction schedules to suit weather conditions. Major components of the projects, including classroom buildings, boarding facilities, administrative offices, and technical infrastructure, are nearing completion.
To date, construction at the Muong Hung school has reached about 93% completion, while the Chieng Khuong school has surpassed 80%. The contractors aim to substantially complete both projects before August 15. Educational equipment has been fully delivered to both schools, with installation expected to be finished in August.
Following the site inspection, Vice Chairman Tien instructed the project investors to urge contractors to accelerate construction and complete all remaining works and administrative procedures by August 30. He emphasised that the projects must meet technical and aesthetic standards, including all supporting infrastructure.
Priority should be given to completing the access roads to the schools, the school gates, and the perimeter fencing before August 15, ensuring that the schools are fully ready for the opening of the 2026–2027 academic year./.
