On June 25, the provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1555/QD-UBND approving the selection of the investor for this project in Van Ho commune. The successful bidder is Van Ho Cloud Community JSC, based in the commune. The project is designed to accommodate a population of approximately 4,300–4,600 residents, covering a total area of around 170 hectares.
The project is envisioned as an integrated eco-urban area featuring modern technical infrastructure, including fully developed transport, electricity, water supply, drainage, lighting and telecommunications systems.
It will also include social infrastructure such as schools, cultural and sports facilities, and nearly 40 hectares of public green space and ecological areas. More than 1,000 commercial housing units and eco-resort villas will be developed, alongside shopping centres, healthcare facilities, tourism services and recreational amenities.
In addition, the project will preserve 65 hectares of existing forest while promoting eco-tourism activities beneath the forest canopy, with the aim of creating a modern urban area that is in harmony with nature and supports sustainable development.
At the signing ceremony, the investor pledged to strictly comply with all applicable laws and regulations while mobilising sufficient resources to ensure the project is implemented on schedule and to the required quality standards.
The investor also committed to developing the project in line with sustainable development orientations by balancing economic growth with environmental protection, preserving local ecosystems, promoting the value of indigenous natural resources, and creating new opportunities for the socio-economic development of the local community.
Addressing the event, Viet affirmed that Son La province remains committed to supporting investors in implementing projects across the province. He called on relevant departments and agencies to provide assistance, within their respective mandates, to facilitate the early implementation of the project.
He also urged the investor to proactively develop a detailed implementation plan and timetable in accordance with regulations, and create distinctive products that will establish the project as a new landmark for modern tourism and resort development in Son La, thereby making a meaningful contribution to the province's socio-economic development in the years ahead./.
