Representing Son La province at the incense-offering ceremony were Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council; Vi Duc Tho, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Council; representatives from several provincial departments and agencies; and leaders of Moc Chau and Chieng Son wards.
During the visit, the delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers in tribute to the heroic martyrs of Tay Tien Regiment 52, honouring those who sacrificed their lives and devoted their youth to the struggle for national independence and the fulfillment of Vietnam's noble international missions. The delegation also listened to stories about the Tay Tien troops and viewed photographs and memorabilia of the regiment’s soldiers.
Members of the delegation expressed their profound gratitude for the martyrs' immense sacrifices and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting patriotism through study, work, and dedication to national development. They also pledged to uphold Vietnam's tradition of remembering those who served the nation, continue activities honouring people with meritorious service, and effectively implement the Party's and the State's policies for war invalids, sick veterans, families of martyrs, and other contributors to the revolution./.
