Executive Board of provincial Party Agencies’ Party Committee convenes 9th meeting

Duong Tu Anh, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, head of the provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Board and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies, on September 15 chaired the ninth meeting of the Executive Board of the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies to review Party building work in the first nine months of 2026, set out tasks for the final three months of the year and discuss a number of matters in line with regulations.

During the first nine months of 2026, the Party Committee of the provincial Party Agencies focused on disseminating and implementing Party resolutions and directives, consolidating Party committees and organisations, and leading the implementation of resolutions adopted by Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 tenure.

Political and ideological education, as well as inspection and supervision, were strengthened, helping enhance the political mettle and responsibility of officials and Party members while maintaining Party discipline and order.

Greater attention was also paid to Party membership development. A total of 54 outstanding individuals were admitted to the Party, reaching 142.1% of the annual target, while 38 probationary Party members were officially recognised as full members. All 65 Party cells have introduced electronic Party member handbooks in their meetings. Efforts to safeguard the Party’s ideological foundation also produced positive results, with 448 entries submitted to a provincial-level political writing contest, winning one collective and 27 individual prizes. In addition, 32 “Skillful Mass Mobilisation” models were registered for 2026.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and gave their views on a proposal to merge the Party Committee’s Organisation Board and Board for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation into the Board for Party Building; the working regulations of the first-tenure Executive Board of for 2025-2030; the assignment of responsibilities to members of the Standing Board and Executive Board; adjustments to the names and organisational classifications of 11 affiliated Party organisations; and other matters in accordance with regulations.

Concluding the meeting, Tu Anh called on Party committees and organisations at all levels to build on their achievements, address shortcomings and focus on key tasks for the final three months of 2026.

She urged them to review targets and assigned tasks, particularly those behind schedule, and devise solutions to ensure they are completed on time and to the required standards. They were also asked to proactively advise on and finalise documents under their authority; strengthen political and ideological education and the responsibility of setting an example; closely monitor the situation among officials and Party members; and improve the quality of Party cell meetings and the leadership role of Party organisations.

She also called for stronger internal inspections and reviews to promptly address shortcomings at the grassroots level, more substantive inspection and supervision, and greater efforts to prevent violations, corruption and other negative practices, contributing to the successful fulfilment of 2026 tasks./.
