Former Son La leader honoured with 45-year Party membership badge

Hoang Van Nghiem, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Head of the provincial Delegation to the National Assembly, on August 27 presented the 45-year Party membership badge to Cam Ngoc Minh, former Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

Attending the ceremony were Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Cha A Cua, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and President of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; among other officials.

Pursuant to the Party Central Committee' Regulation No. 208-QD/TW, dated July 26, 2026, on implementation of the Party Statutes, and Regulation No. 435-QD/TU issued on August 3, 2026, issued by the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board on the presentation or posthumous presentation of Party membership badges in the provincial Party Organisation, the Standing Board has decided to present and posthumously award Party membership badges to 3,625 members across the provincial Party Organisation on the occasion of the National Day (Septemer 2).

Provincial and To Hieu ward leaders present flowers to congratulate Cam Ngoc Minh, former Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

Accordingly, a 45-year Party membership badge was presented Cam Ngoc Minh, former Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

Nghiem congratulated Minh and recognised his contributions to the development of Son La province. He expressed his hope that the former leader would continue to uphold and promote the revolutionary qualities of a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam, remain absolutely loyal to the Party, set an example in fulfilling a Party member's duties, and encourage his family and local residents to adhere to the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, and local regulations.

He also urged Minh to continue contributing his wealth of experience and pioneering spirit to help the provincial Party Organisation, authorities and people successfully implement the resolutions adopted by Party congresses at all levels, building Son La into a prosperous, civilised and developed province, joining the country in the new era./.
