The project has total investment of more than 243 billion VND (9.3 million USD) and covers over 4.8 hectares. It comprises 12 main buildings, including classroom buildings, subject-specific buildings, boarding, multipurpose and dining facilities, along with various auxiliary works.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, the school has 1,050 students from grades 1 to 9, mainly children from ethnic minority communities.
The inauguration will begin at 8 a.m. on August 22, featuring an art performance, a report on the project, an awards ceremony, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a tree-planting ceremony and a tour of the school’s facilities.
The school is conducting its first trial operation and refining procedures ranging from student reception and accommodation arrangements to meals, daily activities, learning conditions and management of boarding students on August 21 and 22. The second trial operation is scheduled for September 3 and 4, serving as the final preparation before the school officially welcomes students for the new academic year.
To prepare for the inauguration ceremony, relevant agencies, units and local authorities have worked closely to swiftly complete preparations. The final rehearsal showed that the main contents were carried out as planned, meeting the set requirements.
Chairman Viet asked relevant departments and agencies, local authorities and the school to continue reviewing all preparations and conditions for the inauguration.
He also called for urgent completion of preparations to receive students and put the school into trial operation, particularly boarding facilities, dining services, learning facilities and student care, ensuring the school is ready to operate stably and effectively./.
