The renovated house of Bui Van Toan's family in Doan Ket commune has a floor area of 106 square metres, with a total investment of 75 million VND (2,848 USD). Of this amount, the State provided 50 million VND, the family contributed 20 million VND, and 5 million VND came from social donations. Local armed forces and residents also contributed 120 workdays to support the renovation. The upgraded house now provides the family with improved living conditions and greater long-term stability.

In Song Khua commune, the newly built house of Vi Van Truong's family in Lien Hoa hamlet was completed at a total cost of around 183 million VND, including 100 million VND from the State, 20 million VND contributed by the family, and 20 million VND from social donations. In addition, local militia members and residents contributed 175 workdays, equivalent to more than 43 million VND, to help build the new house.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee commended the strong sense of responsibility shown by authorities at all levels and relevant agencies in completing the projects. He emphasised that each new home not only helps families of people with meritorious service to the revolution secure more stable living conditions but also symbolises the nation's tradition of gratitude and solidarity, while strengthening public confidence in the Party and the State.

He called on Party committees, local authorities, departments, agencies and localities to continue reviewing and fully implementing policies for people with meritorious service to the revolution and their families in a timely manner. He also urged greater efforts to mobilise and integrate available resources to support policy beneficiary families still facing housing difficulties, thereby improving their material and spiritual well-being./.
