New recruits of Regiment 754 receive tradition education

Regiment 754 under the provincial Military Command on April 26 organised a programme for more than 200 new recruits enlisted in 2026 to offer incense at the President Ho Chi Minh Temple at Tay Bac Square, and to visit and study traditions at the Son La Prison special national relic site.

At the sites, officers and soldiers were briefed on the nation’s revolutionary struggle, the proud traditions of the Party and the Vietnam People’s Army, and the indomitable spirit of revolutionary fighters once imprisoned at Son La Prison. The activity helped new recruits raise awareness, foster pride, build political resolve and determination to undertake and successfully fulfill assigned tasks.

After the visit, the soldiers took part in environmental cleanup, tending flower gardens and ornamental plants within the relic site.
