Member of the provincial Party Committee's Standing Board and Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ha Trung Chien presented and posthumously awarded Party membership badges to members of the Party Organisations of Muong Coi and Phu Yen communes on the occasion of the National Day (September 2).

Chien presented the Party membership badge to the relatives of Party member Nguyen Ngoc Binh of the Party Cell of Sub-zone 5 under the Phu Yen commune Party Organisation, who was posthumously conferred the 65-year Party membership badge. The official also presented the 60-year Party membership badges to Nguyen Van Nhieu of the Hung Coi hamlet Party Cell under the Muong Coi commune Party Organisation, and Dinh Van Xien and Ha Tanh of the Sub-zone 5 Party Cell under the Phu Yen commune Party Organisation.

Chien congratulated the Party members on this occasion and acknowledged their contributions to the revolutionary cause, Party building and local development. He expressed his hope that they will continue to uphold their qualities, steadfastness and exemplary spirit; encourage their children and grandchildren to observe the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws; and actively contribute to building the Party, local administration, Fatherland Front Committee and mass organisations, as well as to local movements, thereby helping develop the commune-level Party organisations in a stronger and more transparent manner.

Chien also asked the local Party committees and authorities to continue paying due attention to and providing practical care for the material and spiritual well-being of elderly Party members, and creating favourable conditions for them to bring into full play their experience, reputation and sense of responsibility and continue contributing to the development of their hometowns./.
Following the merger of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) branches in Son La, Dien Bien and Lai Chau provinces, SBV Region III now oversees a large area with a substantial workload.
