Construction of the school began on October 22, 2025, with a total investment of more than 250 billion VND (9.57 million USD). The project comprises an administration and library building, primary and lower secondary academic buildings, student dormitories, teachers’ quarters, a dining hall, subject-specific classrooms, a multi-purpose sports hall and a swimming pool.

Once completed, the school will meet the educational and residential needs of more than 1,000 students from ethnic minority communities in the border area. Construction is currently more than 93% complete.

Following the site inspection, Chairman Viet called on the project investor, contractor and relevant agencies to mobilise all available resources, including manpower, machinery and equipment. He urged them to increase working hours and shifts and organise construction activities in a scientific and flexible manner to overcome difficulties and ensure the project is completed on schedule while meeting required standards for quality, technical specifications and aesthetics.

He also requested that the entire project undergo thorough inspection and trial operation before being put into use, ensuring that the facilities deliver their intended benefits and provide children in border communities with a better environment for learning, training and personal development./.
