Provincial education official receives Party membership badge

The Party Organisation of the Son La provincial Department of Education and Training on May 15 held a ceremony to present the Party membership badge to Nguyen Van Chien, Party Committee Secretary and Director of the department.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee extended congratulations and lauded Chien's contributions to the province’s education and training sector.

The official expressed hope that Chien would continue upholding a strong sense of responsibility and striving for the Party’s goals and ideals, while maintaining and promoting the revolutionary qualities of a Party member and contributing to successfully implementing resolutions adopted at Party congresses at all levels.

    Son La province has 14 martyrs cemeteries, seven of which contain 579 graves of fallen soldiers whose identities have yet to be determined. As part of the “500-day-and-night campaign to accelerate the search, recovery and identification of martyrs’ remains,” the province has completed DNA sampling for identification purposes at all seven cemeteries.
