Attending the incense offering ceremony were Hoang Van Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, and head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies; Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; among others.
In a solemn atmosphere, the provincial leaders expressed their deep respect and boundless gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the brilliant leader of the Party and the Vietnamese people, a national liberation hero, and an outstanding cultural figure. He devoted his entire life to the revolutionary cause, the liberation of the Vietnamese nation, and the struggles of peace-loving peoples around the world. He left an immensely valuable legacy and a shining example of ideology, morality, and style.
Nearly seven decades have passed since President Ho Chi Minh and the Government delegation visited officials, soldiers, and ethnic communities in the northwestern region in Son La on May 7, 1959. At that time, he advised: “The people, soldiers, and officials of the Autonomous Region who are already united must become even more united, and those already striving in emulation must strive even harder so that the Autonomous Region becomes increasingly prosperous.”
Following his teachings, the Party organisation, government, and people of Son La’s ethnic groups have continuously worked hard and achieved many accomplishments, with strong development across various sectors and steadily improving living standards for the people.
Before the sacred spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party organisation, government, and people of Son La province respectfully offered fresh flowers to express their profound gratitude for his immense contributions.
They pledged to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, steadfastly follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, further promote the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style, strengthen political determination, overcome difficulties and challenges, successfully fulfill assigned tasks, and build Son La into an increasingly prosperous and beautiful province.
