The delegation comprised Hoang Van Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial delegation of National Assembly deputies; Lo Minh Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; and Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; among others.
At the monument and temple, provincial leaders expressed their profound respect and boundless gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the great leader and teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, an outstanding figure in the international communist and workers’ movement, and a great man of culture.
The Party Organisation, authorities and people of all ethnic groups in Son La province pledged to remain steadfast in their belief in the Party’s leadership, continue caring for war invalids, martyrs’ families and policy beneficiaries, and regard this as both a responsibility and a noble tradition to honour and repay those who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence and freedom.
At the Son La Prison Martyrs’ Cemetery and the Memorial House for Heroic Martyrs in Son La Prison, provincial leaders laid wreaths and offered incense in commemoration of the immense contributions of heroic martyrs who laid down their lives in the struggle for national independence and reunification.
Promoting the province’s revolutionary tradition, the Party Organisation, authorities and people of all ethnic groups in Son La province will continue to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style, striving to live, work, fight and study in accordance with the example of the great leader.
