The delegation visited cultural camp areas set up by communes and wards, the venue for an exhibition and trade fair showcasing local specialty products, and the site of the men's football tournament. They also reviewed preparations and assessed the progress of tasks assigned to participating units.
Moc Chau Culture and Tourism Week 2026 is being held on a provincial scale, featuring a wide range of activities and attracting participation from communes, wards, agencies and businesses in the Moc Chau National Tourism Area and other parts of the province.
Participating localities and units have set up exhibition spaces showcasing traditional cultural heritage, local agricultural specialties, distinctive tourism and cultural products, ethnic cuisine and local tourism potential. Preparations have now been completed, with venues ready to welcome residents and visitors from near and far.
During the inspections, provincial leaders praised the proactive approach and thorough preparations of the participating forces and units. They called on organisers and participants to maintain their efforts and a strong sense of responsibility in competitions, performances and sporting activities.
They also stressed the need to ensure safe and well-organised events, creating a vibrant and attractive cultural atmosphere that reflects local ethnic traditions. Communes, wards and participating organisations were urged to strengthen communications, maintain environmental cleanliness, ensure public order and promote civilised tourism practices, contributing to the successful organisation of the week and promoting Son La as a culturally rich, dynamic, welcoming and friendly destination to domestic and international visitors./.
