Delegates studied Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW on building a disciplined, safe, civilised, harmonious and developed society; Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW on renewing Vietnam’s development model; Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW on building and developing Vietnam into a strong maritime nation; Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW on viewpoints and orientations for amending the Land Law and related laws; and Resolution No. 22-NQ/TW on the National Security Strategy. They also looked into the Politburo’s action programmes and the Central Military Commission’s plans for implementing the resolutions.
The conference also covered Conclusion No. 75-KL/TW on environmental protection and proactive response to climate change in the new period; and Conclusion No. 76-KL/TW on continuing to improve and effectively operate the overall organisational apparatus of the political system and the two-tier local administration model, along with the Politburo’s action programmes and the Central Military Commission’s plan for implementing these conclusions.
Participants were also briefed on Regulation No. 207-QD/TW on things Party members are prohibited from doing; Guidance No. 02-HD/UBKTTW issued by the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Inspection, as well as documents issued by the Central Military Commission and the General Department of Politics to implement the regulation. Regulation No. 208-QD/TW on the enforcement of the Party Statutes and relevant implementation documents issued by the Central Military Commission and the General Department of Politics were also introduced.
At the conference, participants also studied Resolution No. 16-NQ/DU, dated June 30, 2026, of the Military Region 2 Party Committee on strengthening leadership over political education, ideological management, discipline observance and safety assurance in the armed forces of the Military Region; along with Resolution No. 17-NQ/DU, dated July 30, 2026, on promoting the cultural values of “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers” in the new period within the Party Organisation and armed forces of the Military Region.
In his closing remarks, Colonel Dau Thanh Quang, Political Commissar of the provincial Military Command, called on Party committees and organisations, agencies and units at all levels to lead and direct the serious and timely study, dissemination and implementation of documents issued by the Party Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defence, Military Region 2 and the province.
He urged them to thoroughly and comprehensively grasp the viewpoints, objectives, tasks and key solutions set out in the documents, thereby ensuring a high degree of unity in awareness and action and promptly translating the Party’s guidelines and policies into practice./.
