Provincial Party chief visits Mai Son district

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh on March 11 visited Mai Son district to explore the production and business activities of several enterprises based in the locality.

Khanh visited the production lines of the Son La Sugarcane JSC and Song Lam Tay Bac Fertilizer JSC, praising their efforts over the past time. Son La Sugarcane JSC has signed contracts with over 10,000 farmer households who cultivate more than 9,000 hectares of raw sugarcane. The company has implemented many policies to support farmers and ensure product sales, and invested in various projects within the raw material areas.

Song Lam Tay Bac Fertilizer JSC has taken measures to stabilise and develop production, ensure employment and income for local workers while also participating in social activities.

The Secretary of the provincial Party Committee asked the enterprises to continue to invest in modern equipment, improve product quality, and protect the environment. He encouraged them to expand production linkages, create more jobs for farmers, and actively contribute to the development of new-style rural areas and ensure social welfare in the locality.
