Provincial Party official visits, presents gifts to policy beneficiary families in Mai Son commune

On the occasion of the 79th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – 2026), Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, on July 27 led a delegation to visit and present gifts to policy beneficiary families in Mai Son commune.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Lo Minh Hung and the working delegation present gifts to war invalid Lo Van Thien in Na Sy hamlet.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Lo Van Thien of Na Sy hamlet, a war invalid with a 51% disability rate; Tong Thi Thai of Na Sy hamlet, the mother of martyr Tong Van Phung; Le Viet Hung of Sub-zone 1, a revolutionary suffered from chemical exposure at 81%, and a war invalid with a 61% disability rate; and Ha Quy Phung of Sub-zone 14, a war invalid with a 51% disability rate.

At the families, Hung kindly inquired about their health and living conditions, and expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of martyrs, war invalids, revolutionary contributors, and their families in the cause of national liberation and defence.

He affirmed that the Party, the State, and society always respect, appreciate, and pay special attention to people with meritorious services to the nation. He expressed his hope that the families would continue upholding revolutionary traditions, maintaining good health, serving as spiritual support and exemplary role models for younger generations, actively participating in patriotic emulation movements, and contributing to the development of their homeland.

The provincial official requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to effectively implement the “gratitude” movement, pay attention to improving the material and spiritual well-being of people with meritorious services, and ensure that relevant policies and mechanisms are fully and promptly implemented, thereby promoting the Vietnamese traditions of “When drinking water, remember its source” and “Repaying gratitude”./.
