At the meeting, communal leaders reported on local socio-economic development, national defence and security in the first seven months of the year, as well as key tasks and solutions for the remaining five months of 2026. The provincial People’s Council delegation briefed voters on the outcomes of the second session and reported on the handling of voters’ feedback and recommendations raised at previous voter meetings.

Xuan Nha voters called on authorities at all levels and relevant agencies to prioritise upgrading and repairing Provincial Road 102 – the section from the Van Ho junction to the commune’s administrative centre. They also proposed allocating additional investment funds to upgrade and repair inter-hamlet and intra-hamlet roads, build a border patrol road, and upgrade cultural houses in hamlets following the recent administrative mergers.

Voters further proposed funding each hamlet with a computer set to support the implementation of Politburo Resolution No. 57 on breakthroughs in science-technology, innovation and digital transformation and help residents carry out administrative procedures online; and providing financial support for the development and implementation of economic models.

They urged promoting sustainable agricultural and forestry production alongside forest protection in border areas; and directing the investor of the Xuan Nha Primary and Secondary Boarding School to accelerate construction and ensure the project is completed in time for the 2026–2027 academic year, in accordance with regulations.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Viet urged the commune Party Committee and administration to continue improving the effectiveness and efficiency of local government operations, ensuring that the administrative apparatus runs smoothly, remains close and responsive to the people, and provides better public services.

He called for stronger administrative reform and digital transformation, while focusing on expanding production, creating livelihoods and raising local incomes. The commune should select crops and livestock suited to local conditions, while aligning production with market demand and sales potential, he said.

He also asked the commune to work closely with the investor of the Xuan Nha Primary and Secondary Boarding School and relevant agencies to promptly address emerging issues and accelerate construction of project components. At the same time, it should make comprehensive preparations to ensure that the school can soon operate effectively and deliver its intended benefits.

Police, military and border guard forces were asked to maintain close coordination, closely monitor the area, safeguard the national border and boundary markers, and maintain political security and social order and safety. They should also step up efforts to prevent and combat drug-related offenses and other types of crime, helping ensure a safe and peaceful life for local residents.
