Provincial People's Council members meet voters in Muong Hung commune

Cha A Cua, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, together with members of Group No. 7 of the provincial People's Council, met with voters in Muong Hung commune on June 26 ahead of the second session of the 16th provincial People's Council for the 2026–2031 term.

The meeting was attended by leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Muong Hung commune, as well as Party cell secretaries and hamlet heads from across the commune.

At the meeting, a Muong Hung leader presented a report on the commune's socio-economic development, national defence, and security during the first six months of the year, along with key tasks for the remaining six months of 2026. 

A representatives of Group No. 7 informed voters about the outcomes of the provincial People's Council's second thematic session and provided information on the proposed agenda, programme, schedule, and venue for the second session of the 16th provincial People's Council for the 2026–2031 term.

In a democratic and open atmosphere, voters put forward several recommendations, requesting competent authorities to consider issuing unified guidance on the payment of first-time allowances, talent attraction and special allowances, and other benefits for officials, civil servants, public employees, and other personnel working in border areas and regions facing exceptionally difficult socio-economic conditions, in accordance with Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP on policies and benefits for officials, civil servants, public employees, workers, and members of the armed forces during the restructuring of the political system's organisational apparatus.

Addressing the meeting, Cha A Cua acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and achievements of Muong Hung commune after nearly one year of implementing the two-tier local government model.

He provided additional information and clarified issues raised by voters within his authority. He also urged the communal Party Committee and local authorities to strengthen their leadership and direction in implementing the proposed solutions in a comprehensive and effective manner.
