In April, local and central media agencies operating in the province closely followed the information orientations of the provincial Party Committee’s Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation Board and the provincial People’s Committee.
They provided timely and prominent coverage of major current affairs and political events in the country and the province, as well as domestic and foreign activities of Party, State, and provincial leaders.
Media agencies also highlighted socio-economic development tasks in April across sectors such as agriculture, forestry, trade, services, and construction investment; issues related to food safety and hygiene; market management; state budget collection; and efforts to combat smuggling and trade fraud.
For information directions in May, the provincial Party Committee’s Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation Board requested media agencies to continue focusing on reporting the results of the first session of the 16th National Assembly; developments and outcomes of the first thematic session of the 16th provincial People’s Council, along with post-session voter meetings; and the implementation of strategic resolutions of the Politburo.
Media coverage should also highlight the country’s and the province’s outstanding achievements during the 2021–2025 period. In addition, media agencies are encouraged to effectively report on the operations of the two-tier local government system; activities of Party organisations, authorities, Vietnam Fatherland Front committees, and socio-political organisations at commune and ward levels; as well as the active implementation of political tasks and production and business activities in May and the second quarter of 2026.
