At the schools, Vice Chairman Tien and the delegation inspected preparations for the inauguration and opening ceremonies and heard reports from the project investors, local authorities and relevant agencies on construction progress and other related matters.
As of now, the Chieng Khuong school project is approximately 85% complete, while the Muong Hung school has reached around 97.5% completion. Despite frequent rain, contractors have been working to maintain progress on the various construction components.
The procurement and installation of teaching and learning equipment, boarding room and kitchen equipment, and other essential items have been completed, ensuring the necessary conditions for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Following his inspection, the Vice Chairman asked the project investors and contractors to mobilise maximum manpower and equipment, organise construction work efficiently, and take advantage of favourable weather conditions to accelerate progress.
He stressed that construction must strictly ensure technical quality and aesthetic standards, occupational safety and environmental sanitation, so that the facilities can be ready for the opening ceremonies and put into use in the 2026–2027 academic year, meeting the expectations of local Party committees, authorities and residents./.
