Regiment 754 holds oath-taking ceremony for new recruits in 2026

Regiment 754 under the provincial Military Command on June 8 held the 2026 oath-taking ceremony for new recruits. Attending the ceremony were Major General Nguyen Dang Khai, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 2; Colonel Chu Van Thanh, Commander of the provincial Military Command; and Nguyen Thanh Cong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.

In 2026, Regiment 754 received and organised training for 300 new recruits in accordance with the approved plan, ensuring safety, discipline, and compliance with regulations.

According to inspection and evaluation results, 100% of recruits met requirements in political awareness, of which 93.3% achieved good or excellent results. Regarding military regulations and discipline, 100% met requirements, with 89% rated good or excellent. 

About 95.4% satisfied requirements in physical training, with 76.9% rated good or excellent, while all subjects in infantry combat skills training achieved good or excellent results.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Dang Khai highly commended Regiment 754 for its comprehensive leadership, direction, and effective implementation of the 2026 new-recruit training programme, successfully fulfilling all assigned training plans and objectives.

He also called on the new soldiers to develop strong political mettle, maintain a high level of revolutionary vigilance, clearly recognise potential threats, strengthen their determination, and remain ready to undertake and successfully accomplish all assigned missions.
