Son La announces decisions on Party organisation, personnel changes

A conference was held on August 27 to announce decisions on the establishment of the Party Organisations of the provincial People’s Council and the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organisations, both under the provincial Party Committee.

A decision on the renaming of the provincial Party Committee’s Board for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation as the Board for Publicity, and personnel decisions, were also announced on this occasion.

Attending the conference were Hoang Van Nghiem, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Head of the provincial Delegation to the National Assembly; among other officials.

The above-said documents include the provincial Party Committee's Decision No. 460-QD/TU, dated August 27, 2026, on the establishment of the Party Organisation of the provincial People’s Council, comprising three affiliated Party organisations and 49 members.

The conference also announced Decision No. 462-QD/TU, also dated August 27, establishing the Party Organisation of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front and pmass organisations, with 20 affiliated Party organisations and 175 members.

The conference unveiled personnel decisions by the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board at the Party Committees of the provincial People’s Council and the Vietnam Fatherland Front and provincial mass organisations for the 2025-2030 term.

Decision No. 466-QD/TU, dated August 27, 2026, was also released to rename the provincial Party Committee’s Board for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation as the Board for Publicity, alongside decisions on changes to leadership and management positions at the former board.

In his remarks, Nghiem urged the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Council, the Party Committee of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organisations, and the provincial Party Committee’s Board for Publicity to quickly stabilise their organisational structures and adhere to regulations in issuing working rules and assigning specific responsibilities based on the principle of “six clear”: clear people, clear tasks, clear timelines, clear responsibilities, clear results and clear authority.

He also called for the proper receipt and handover of records, documents, assets and tasks; ensuring smooth operations without disruption to assigned duties; and promoting solidarity, unity, determination, decisiveness, discipline and order.

The provincial leader stressed the need to strictly uphold the principle of democratic centralism, set an example and effectively carry out assigned tasks, while paying close attention to the management, education and training of Party members./.
