Attending the ceremony were Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council and Head of the Competition Organising Committee; members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board; and leaders of the provincial People’s Committee.

The final round of the Son La Digital Transformation Competition 2026, themed “Digital Ideas – Spreading Digital Strength,” took place over two days and featured 25 ideas, initiatives, solutions and products.

During the final round, individual contestants and teams were given 10–15 minutes to present their ideas, initiatives or solutions, followed by a five-minute question-and-answer session with the judging panel.

Most contestants demonstrated strong preparation and effectively presented their entries, focusing on digital transformation initiatives and solutions in areas such as education and training, agriculture, administrative reform, and Party building.

Speaking at the event, Hung commended the judging panel, secretariat and support teams for their sense of responsibility, fairness and objectivity, as well as their close coordination and thorough preparations, which contributed significantly to the overall success of the competition.

He also recognised and praised the strong sense of responsibility, serious preparation and determined efforts of the 25 contestants and teams, whose entries showcased high-quality and meaningful digital transformation ideas and products with significant practical value.

Building on the results of the competition, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee called on award winners and all participants to continue researching, refining and improving their products. He encouraged them to proactively coordinate with agencies, organisations and businesses to test and optimise their ideas, initiatives and solutions, and to turn them into complete, feasible products with high practical value that can effectively support work and everyday life.

At the closing ceremony, the Organising Committee presented first prize to Nguyen Vuong Anh from the Youth Division of the provincial Department of Public Security for his initiative “An AI-Powered Platform for Detecting Harmful and Malicious Content in Cyberspace.”

The committee also gave two second, three third and five consolation prizes, as well as three special awards to outstanding individual contestants and teams.

The provincial People’s Committee presented its certificate of merit to the first prize winner Nguyen Vuong Anh./.
