The delegation visited and presented gifts to wounded veteran Vi Van Ngoc in Lanh hamlet and Quang Van Keo, a relative of a fallen soldier, in Na Nghe hamlet, both in Sop Cop commune. It also visited wounded veteran Luong Van Khien and sick veteran Lo Van Tang, both from Muong Lan hamlet in Muong Lan commune.

Thanh extended his regards and expressed profound gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions made by wounded and sick veterans and other people who rendered service to the nation during the struggle for national liberation and the country's construction and defence.

He expressed hope that the families would continue to uphold their revolutionary traditions, serve as role models in local economic development, and encourage younger generations to study, develop themselves and contribute to the country's development.

The officer also called on local Party committees and authorities to continue effectively implementing policies for people with meritorious service, improve the material and spiritual well-being of wounded veterans, families of fallen soldiers and other beneficiaries, and uphold Vietnam's tradition of honouring those who sacrificed for the nation./.
