Attending the meeting were Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council; Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee; and Cha A Cua, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and President of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; among other officials. 

At the meeting, the Standing Board discussed and gave opinions on submissions presented by the Party Committee of the provincial People's Committee on the following matters: a report on the progress of investment preparation and an investment plan for the Moc Chau–Son La–Dien Bien expressway (CT.03) section running through Son La province; a submission seeking opinions on the investment policy for several new projects to be launched during the 2026–2030 period; and a consolidated report on the appraisal results of investment policies for public investment projects funded by the central budget during the 2026–2030 period.

The meeting also discussed a submission seeking in-principal approval for the allocation and additional assignment of the 2026 expenditure estimate to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, as well as another seeking approval for the allocation, transfer and liquidation of public assets in the province.

The meeting also discussed a report by the provincial Party Committee's Inspection Board on the results of a review of the implementation of inspection and audit conclusions concerning the project to develop a site for the provincial Administrative Centre and Square.

Concluding the meeting, Nghiem assigned the Party Committee of the provincial People's Committee to direct the completion of the pre-feasibility study report for the investment project to build the Moc Chau–Son La–Dien Bien expressway (CT.03) section running through Son La province in accordance with regulations; incorporate and provide explanations in response to opinions from ministries and agencies; and carry out appraisal procedures before submitting the project to competent authorities for a decision on its investment policy in accordance with regulations.

Regarding public investment projects funded by the central budget during the 2026–2030 period, authorities are to focus on reviewing and completing dossiers, documents and other relevant contents. They are to consider and decide on investment policies and organise the implementation of the projects, ensuring progress, quality and efficiency while preventing losses and waste of State funds. They will regularly monitor, urge, inspect and closely supervise the implementation of the projects in accordance with regulations.

Authorities are to decide on and implement plans for the allocation, transfer and liquidation of public assets in the province in accordance with regulations, ensuring proper use, efficiency and suitability to local conditions./.
