Son La currently has around 5,000 enterprises and 845 cooperatives in operation. Enterprises and cooperatives are playing an increasingly important role in organising production, developing linkages in raw material areas, processing and marketing products. Along with their growth in number and scale of operation, there is an increasing need to innovate management practices, apply technology, leverage data, and expand markets.

Delegates focused their discussions on business model innovation; applying digital technologies to expand markets and reduce costs; shifting from simply selling products to creating value for customers; data-driven business management and the use of AI to support decision-making; and governance innovation to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Technology providers demonstrated solution groups covering management and accounting; sales and e-commerce; data and product traceability; communications; and AI. Delegates also exchanged views and discussed with experts issues arising in the digital transformation process of enterprises and cooperatives.

The conference helped enterprises and cooperatives gain access to management approaches, business models, and technology solutions suited to their practical needs; strengthen connections with experts and solution providers; and gradually improve operational efficiency and market access.
