Delegates attend the meeting on digital transformation in the culture, tourism and healthcare sectors.

At the meeting, the consulting firm presented a demonstration of a digital transformation platform for culture, tourism and healthcare. For the healthcare sector, the implementation roadmap for the 2026–2030 period will focus on several key tasks. In 2026, efforts will concentrate on building the foundation, including the establishment of an international operation centre (IOC), the development of a centralised healthcare database, and the launch of the YteSonLa web and mobile application.

In 2027, the focus will shift to integration and pilot implementation, including connecting healthcare databases across the province, introducing online appointment booking services, and piloting smart kiosks. In 2028, the healthcare ecosystem will be expanded through telemedicine services, integration of digital healthcare maps, and connections with private healthcare providers.

In 2029, digital economy initiatives will be promoted through the development of online pharmacies and the expansion of cashless payment services. By 2030, the sector aims to complete the digital healthcare model with the application of artificial intelligence for data analysis and the comprehensive development of a digital healthcare system tailored to mountainous areas.

A leader of the Department of Health gives comments at the meeting.

Regarding digital transformation in culture and tourism, the consulting firm showcased tourism ecosystem platforms, including sonlatour.vn and taybactour.vn. Based on centralised databases, the platforms will automatically assess and compile statistics on tourist destinations, accommodation facilities, cultural heritage, community-based tourism experiences, and visitor numbers. The consultants also introduced digital museum and digital library solutions.

Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Ha Trung Chien addresses the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Health to assess the current status of information technology applications in state management activities at the department level, hospitals and commune-level health stations.

The culture sector was tasked with coordinating with the consulting firm to evaluate the application of information technology in developing digital museums and digital libraries.

The Department of Finance was urged to allocate funding for the implementation of the tourism ecosystem platforms, sonlatour.vn and taybactour.vn, for the provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Centre.

Based on the findings and recommendations, the provincial People's Committee will report to the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board to facilitate the implementation of the digital transformation project in the culture, tourism and healthcare sectors in the coming period.
