The province is currently seeking investors for two projects within the Moc Chau National Tourism Area: the Tea Hill Residential and Service Area in Van Son ward and an urban-tourism development project in Chieng Son commune.
The Tea Hill Residential and Service Area covers approximately 239 hectares and is planned to include residential land, commercial and service areas, entertainment facilities and mixed-use urban functions. The project is expected to support the development of a modern urban area while meeting the growing needs of the tourism sector.
The Chieng Son project is planned as a modern urban-tourism complex linked to Moc Chau’s signature tourism products. It is expected to better utilise the area's natural landscape, enhance land-use value and create new momentum for local socio-economic growth.
During the meeting, participants discussed land-use planning, tourism development strategies and implementation procedures in preparation for potential investors.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Tien said attracting capable investors at an early stage would help unlock the tourism area's development potential, accelerate the growth of tourism, services and modern urban infrastructure, and strengthen Moc Chau’s role as a leading tourism hub in Vietnam’s northern midlands and mountainous region.
He instructed provincial departments and agencies to expedite administrative procedures and finalise required documentation to facilitate investor selection. Local authorities were also asked to review project scales, land areas and investment components, complete dossiers for submission to competent authorities and coordinate efforts to resolve bottlenecks to ensure projects can be implemented promptly once investment approval is granted./.
